Els vídeo/documentals d’en Keith Edwards

En Keith Edwards, del Dudley Caving Club és un prolífic realitzador d’excel·lents vídeos on documenta les activitats del seu club. Per nosaltres és un privilegi poder veure tan ben mostrades les característiques de les cavitats angleses, i especialment les de Sout Wales, i comprovar alhora la tenacitat d’aquests companys que exprimeixen cada metre d’aquestes cavitats.  Convindreu amb mi, que algun cas, no son gaire aptes per als que tenen claustrofòbia.... i a més a més té la gosadia de documentar-les en vídeo.

Ogof Rhyd Sych - A Caving Trip

Ogof Rhyd Sych is a little visited cave with a fearsome reputation built on the tight, low, wet and arduous passages that you need to pass on the route into the cave. Beyond this however the cave suddenly changes character to reveal 500m of the finest river cave passage in the UK. On Sunday 16th January 2011 deep in darkest Derbyshire a team of crack cavers from Dudley Caving Club go to probe the inner depths of a place that the locals refer to only as the Devil's Arse.

Croesor Rhosydd Through Trip

Caving in Cwm Dwr - South Wales

The Cwm Dwr Entrance to the OFD cave system starts as a climb down a shaft and then follows some tight crawls to enter the heart of the mighty Ogof Ffynnon Ddu cave system. From this point a maze of passages can be explored leading to the lower OFD I section of the cave and via the streamway to the upper OFD II part of the system. This video was taken during a caving trip with Dudley Caving Club on Sunday 19th February 2012.
